“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. -1 Corinthians 6:19-20”
“Ye are of God, little children and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. -1 John 4:4”
…On Things Above…

It’s easy to get caught up in daily life it’s worries, trials, tribulations, the back biting of others, negative attitudes, financial struggles, etc. Sometimes we forget, and we so easily do, to Set our affections on things above, and not on things of the earth (Colossians 3:2).

Sometimes we just get caught up in the web of life. We get tangled forgetting that this earthly home, with all of it’s struggles, is temporary. Something to remember would be that Jesus has already overcome all of these battles, struggles, trials, and tribulations…and he made it through…we can too!!!! (John 16:33)

Although this earth is temporary, what we do still matters. We must keep working for Christ laying up treasures in heaven. Where our treasures are, is where our heart will be also (Read Matthew 6:19-21). If we put too much stock in the earthly treasures, which will fade, what will happen? “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36). Hmmm….something to definitely ponder!

Fight the Good fight! (1 Timothy 6:11-13). Happy day!

“But mine eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. -Psalm141:8”
“I think of Jesus, and I have to shake my head. Under the most incredible circumstances, Jesus never doubted God’s Word, not once. I pray every day that I become more like Him.”
Hebrews 4:15 (NLT)

“I have to deal with people who are ALWAYS in the middle of an argument. All the quarrels, all the fusses, all the feuds of which I have been a contributor never really advanced my cause. As the old saying goes: Every time you throw dirt, you lose ground.”
Matthew 5:9 (NLT)
